As a resident for Spundae Productions, Jonathan
Ojeda is among their elite family of
world class DJ's including Cass, Lee Burridge,
Max Graham and Jerry Bonham among others.
Born in Queens, New York and raised in San
Francisco, Jonathan developed skills of
piano and saxophone at the early age of
8. As years passed, he played in alternative
bands and in late adolescents found turntables.
After attending college away from home,
he moved back to San Francisco and began
to frequent the local SF club scene where
he eventually came upon Spundae Productions.
Becoming known as an essential part of a
night out, Jonathan landed his residency
at the internationally renown Spundae at
1015 Folsom with his diverse compound of
progressive house, trance breaks and techno.
On any given evening, Jonathan can be found
at such staple SF clubs as Qool, 111 Minna,
Club 6 and DNA Lounge and numerous on-offs.

During the day, Jonathan resides as partner
and General Manager of the Spundae Reckords
store, A&R man for the Spundae Recordings
label, and resides as the progressive reviewer
for the US dance music magazine BPM Culture,
also known as DJMixed.com. In addition,
his studio production work with partner
Doug Eisengrein is scheduled to release
April 2003 on the Spundae Recordings under
their Suffix moniker. And still,
with his devotion to daily responsibilities,
he is unequivocally pushing the envelope
on dance floors everywhere.
